Staying up to date on the news is tough. Call of the Land is a simply information source for agriculture. It’s a five day-a-week, 9-minute Alberta Agriculture’s daily radio program produced by Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development. For many years Call of the Land has aired during the noon hour to a province-wide network of stations including CKUA. It now reaches a daily audience of more than 110,000 listeners. This programm is aired on 25 Alberta radio stations and broadcasts about upcoming agricultural events, technologies and marketing trends. A new app for Call of the Land was released on 1 April, 2014. Alberta’s producers can now stay informed anytime and anywhere by using the new app. The app enables Android and iPhone users to access interviews, stories and upcoming events from the popular agriculture radio program.

The IOS version is availabe in the iTunes app store and the android version was released on 9 April and is also availabe on Google Play.
